Hey Family,

So I got a job today with Rupert Gregson-Williams (check him out at imdb.com) he was the composer on Bee Movie and also the a bunch of Adam Sandler Movies (including the new one "Don't Mess With The Zohan"), in fact he even plays in a band with Adam! He is also scoring "Made of Honor" with McDreamy.  This is the opportunity of a lifetime, I am so grateful to be so blessed! I love you all!

Ron Paul cute????

In reference to this:

Ron Paul is so cute though!

I really cant picture Ron Paul Being cute. There is really only one way i could picture him being cute. That is the only way i could picture John McCain being cute. Its like when old people toot. I mean odds are they found out about it as soon as you did. They don't know until they hear it either.

-marshal
ps.parker just cuz its cute when old people toot doesn't mean its cute when you toot. if they are anything, they are consistent...

(i rewrote this to the best of my ability cuz apparently rachel and ryan loved it)

I thought you should all know

That Macworld Expo is in 4 days 12 hours and 29 minutes. I am assuming you will all be quite intent. So i have recently become quite the political buff. There is one candidate that I have grown quite fond of.

And there is one I continue to grow not fond of. I am sure you can all relate.

Awesome!

Thanks for the info Emily, I just got $60 worth of gift cards for $13. Woo hoo!

Restaurant.com Coupon

Rachel, if you buy any Restaurant.com certificates between now and January 13th, use the coupon code SAVINGS.  It will give you a $25 certificate for $5 instead of $10.  Have fun

The Bums

Emily and I just got back from an fun little lunch, we walked down to the 3rd street promenade, an open air street mall, to have lunch. The place is always filled with bums, well crazies actually. None of these people are down on their luck, they are recently released from the asylum in Venice since there isn't enough government funding to take care of them all. Anyway, after lunch we stopped to watch these two street musicians, one was playing guitar and the other a cello and singing, it was sort of like a Damien Rice or Once type of vibe, just beautiful music. Apparently one of the bums thought so too, he began an interpretive dance. He was actually quite good, maybe that's what he did before he went crazy? He was kicking and jumping and on the ground striking poses, just your typical modern/interpretive dance, and then he took a piece of his french bread, broke it and the pigeons came flocking as he dispersed it into the air like he was bursting into life. Anyway it was pretty awesome. Also there is a huge magic store Parker, do you still do magic?

iPhones Rule!

Although I have since thought of some good comebacks I will act like a college graduate, yes I graduated! Woo Hoo! I actually got C's in the two classes I was worried about. So for those of you who watched Dance War last night the music that played while the performers came out into the live studio at the end, that was my music. Pretty exciting. We don't have cable or a TV so we had Scott and Janie turn it on at there house and set their laptop up so we could watch it through ichat. Love you all,

Christian

Money Saving Tips

Two things that we've found lately and have been quite helpful are:

1. Restaurant.com - You can buy gift cards to local restaurants for smaller rates. For example, you pay only $10 for a gift card that is actually worth $25. Very helpful in finding new restaurants and will definitely help you save!
2. Mystershop.org - Go to that website and sign up with different agencies who will send you mystery shops in your area that you can apply for. I have become a mystery shopper so Ryan and I can afford to go out to eat every once in a while, usually on a restaurant mystery shop you are reimbursed for your food and paid a small fee. Also, I recently got an assignment for a mystery shop oil change every three months at the same location and they cover the cost!

These are both new ways that I've discovered for us to save money since we are living in such an expensive place. I hope they are helpful tips for all of you too!
