Jealous!

That is so cool that you saw them! The other day I was at the gym, listening to the soundtrack on my ipod and I really had to hold myself back from just bursting into song. It was really hard, because the music and lyrics are so beautiful I just wanted to join in! Good luck with those 80 hour weeks!

Speaking of singing, I started taking voice lessons again, and I will be performing in an upcoming fireside of Women at the Well, I really like the song that I'm singing, its quite beautiful.

Have a great day/week everyone!

Hey, try working 80 hours a week...

Hello my Dear Sisters, since this seems to have become your forum, I apologize for my absence, I've been overwhelmed and consumed with my new job, I have tons to learn and it keeps me really busy. Emily started her new job last friday and is really enjoying but stressed like me with all of the new things to learn. So guess who I passed in the halls of my work last week? The couple from "Once" Market Irglova and Glen Hansard, don't know what they were here for but they were with Hans. They have been nominated for an Oscar for best song. Oh and my boss is the coolest!! I am loving my job and it's only going to get better. Love,

Christian

Sister Blog

So Rach...I think we will be the only ones who keep this blog alive. So, it can just be ours;) that ice storm sounds crazy, but way fun too! The bummer about being able to walk to school is that we never get school cancelled or delayed! You are lucky that you still have a chance to experience that. As for me..school is going ok. I wish we had some kind of a spring break though, that would be nice. I need to get back to work but I will write more later today. I LOVE YOU HEAPS

Discovery

I recently discovered these wonderful, delicious, healthy and organic snacks and wanted to share with all of you.

The Costco here is now selling Fuji Apple Crisps made by a wonderful new company Brothers All Natural. The fruits are freeze dried so they maintain the same nutritional value as if it was fresh. Also, there are no preservatives, no sugar and no added flavor. It is just the fruit, thats it. Each bag is the equivalent of 2 fruit servings and (for Mom and I) ZERO Weight Watchers points! This is a great and less expensive way to get some of your fruit servings in every day. Also, they taste really good. Go to their website to check ou the other fruits they sell: http://brothersallnatural.com

Enjoy!

I'm not dead yet!!!!

Well, since Kinsey so adamantly wants the family blog to stay alive, I guess I will start posting here more.

We experienced our first East Coast "ice storm" last night. It was so weird because it wasn't raining outside or anything, but apparently if there is enough moisture in the air, and it gets cold enough, then the roads and cars and everything (including our barbecue) just freeze over. So at about 4 o'clock PM chaos in the DC metro area ensued. My commute home (normally 7 minutes) took an hour.

But I had it easy, most people I know were stuck on the freeway, not moving at all, for 2 to 5 hours. Can you even imagine? My office overlooks one of the freeways here, and it looked like a scene from one of those end of the world movies. I probably would have had a complete melt down at hour 2 and just broken down in tears.

The only up side of the whole ordeal, was that both my work and Ryan's school were delayed until about 10 today. It felt like Saturday in the middle of the week.

We were also pretty excited yesterday to go out and vote for the first time ever (we've always been absentee in the past) and were extra excited that our guy won by a landslide! It was a nice change after all of the Romney disappointments to finally see the our candidate winning.

I love you all lots and hope that everything is going great in your neck of the woods. Its kind of fun how our family is already so spread out across the US.

NO!! I refuse to have a funeral service!! I am still going to post on this blog until it makes my face blue! Oh, and Rachel, or someone, how do I use my g-mail account to log onto this blog now...I don't get it! I LOVE YOU ALL!!
